There are a variety of ways that a CID can generate its funding. The West End South CID is will generate it’s revenue based on a special assessment.
A special assessment would structure the annual rate based on the assessed value of the property. This annual rate would be no higher (by legal limit) than $0.85 for every $100 of assessed value. As property values either raised, or lowered this would impact the amount of revenue generated.
The following maps provide an estimate of the revenue that a special taxing district would generate in the southern portion of the West End CID based by block.
